PRE-LICENSING

The online course is self-paced and can be accessed at any time from any computer or mobile device. Chrome is the recommended browser, although the course is compatible with most other browsers.

The online course does not require a textbook, however some course packages include an e-textbook. Course content is mostly text-based with some videos and includes activities and resources. The substantial number of activities reinforces mastery of the content, helping with retention of information and providing the best chance of success on the licensing exam. A course orientation is provided at the start of the course.

  • Course content must be one hundred percent (100%) complete.
  • Seat time is mandatory, and the course will not be considered “complete” until the required time is met. A minimum of seventy-five (75) clock hours must be met.
  • State and National practice exams must be passed with eighty percent (80%) or better. Unlimited attempts are allowed. There are two (2) exams: One state and one national.
  • The 90-Hour LA Real Estate Salesperson Pre-Licensing Course final course exam must be passed with a seventy-five percent (75%) or better. Unlimited retakes are allowed if needed.
